Charity Fund  

As you are visiting our site we would like to bring to your notice that there are thousands of Patients who could not pay for their treatment. It is a practice of the Hospital to set up a Charity Fund for these patients. The Charity Fund is a name given to certain sum of money set aside to subsidize and in some instances to pay for the Hospital bill of these poorer section of Patients. This Scheme was started in the earlier 70's as a collection from Private Wards, which were normally occupied by the affluent members of the society on voluntary basis, this has been help to the poorer section all through the years.

Now the Charity Fund includes Donations from individuals and Groups and organizations besides the usual collections from Private Wards. Church service collections from all over the State on Hospital Sundays which falls on the 1st Sunday of July each year, have also been included in the Charity Fund.

During the Year 2005-2006 the Charity Fund amounted Rs/-19,93,309.00, the entire amount was spent on 464 patients.

You are also welcome to send your donations for the improvement of the Hospital. There have been thousands of patients and organizations who have donated and sponsored certain instruments for the hospital, and are of great help to the Hospital. Nothing is too small nor too big as a gift. So kindly donate in the name of God who will return you in kind. If you wish to donate for the patients unable to meet their Hospital bills or for the infrastructure of the Hospital, you can send your donations to the address given below.
