Medicine, as we all know has been dealing with maximum patients anywhere in the world, is also one of the busiest departments in the hospital. This department is involved with different types of cases ranging from gastroenteritis to Heart patients. The first Intensive Care Unit of the State has already been inaugurated, and is due to function fully soon. For the first time in Mizoram the Treatment of Hepatitis B and C has been started in the Department, hence the costly affair of going to the other states like Kolkota and Guwahati is not required for the treatment of these Diseases
